I mean they intentionally didnt allow one of the prisoners get surgery for his broken wrist. How fucking inhumane.
Not letting them meet with thier attornies, not letting them review evidence against them.
I know conditions in jails are fucked but like this attorney said, its intentional abuse.
Glad to see something being done. All jails need better oversight anyway. There was a pregnant woman here is Michigan who was put in jail over some traffick bullshit, and she went into labor and they refused to take her to the hospital so she was forced to give birth on the jail floor. Over a TRAFFICK offense. She could have died and the baby could have died.
Supporting law and order doesnt mean supporting state inflicted abuse.
