So I believe you that universities are not flat teaching Marxist communism but there are a lot of activist professors and teachers whose strong left wing bias deeply impacts students.

She leapt into Gemeinschaft-Gesellschaft lessons and then she used the Amish to highlight how she saw the difference between community based versus individual based societies.

I bit my lip for a number of her lessons until she just got stupid.

My oldest daughter had an 8th Socail Studies teacher who was a leftist atheist. And he would make comments that she would openly fire back on.

She would all out debate this teacher, even sometimes staying after class to finish. She would come home saying he had brought up a point she didnt know anything about and ask me. So I would tell her my opinion, show her where the info was, and explain to her what the guy was saying.

I always encourage my kids to try to understand the various sides to any issue, and they always come to a sensible conclusion on their own.

So I wasnt very disturbed by this teacher, I view conflict as a strong learning tool....but I know conservative parents that would have been batshit over it.

Getting batshit is pointless and the conservative "solution" of pulling their kids out of public schools imo is a dire mistake. In doing so, we are accepting defeat of the culture war.....its exactly how we got here where leftists are running all over everyone. We need the diversity in our institutions and we are gonna have to be pushy as fuck to get there. If the right wing grew some balls it would be nice.

We need to engage.. we need to reclaim a voice. And we need to be involved in what our kids encounter and USE it to guide them and sharpen them. We need to stop letting these people fail kids or fire adults based on ideological disagreements.

All that teacher did was make my daughter tougher, and more capable of holding her stance with solid information and give her the insight into how others maybe thinking. He was forced to pass her anti abortion research paper and she slapped that well cited masterpeice on his desk with resolve lol. She was SO excited that he was gonna be forced to read her arguments that she didnt even care if he failed her. He didnt. She got the grade she deserved.

She said the look he gave her when he handed her her paper back with 105 percent was the most satisfying moment of her whole year. This teacher was her actual nemesis lol.

Shes also native and gay.....so no one talks shit to her lol. He knew my hawk eye was on him, as well. I wasnt gonna let him fuck with her grades or bully her. I did help her bully the fuck out of him, though.

That's what he gets for trying to spew his bias at kids.
