the metal strainer was clogged but not black, I mean it's metal so it can't be black

its the latter filter that was black

the other is a cloth filter sort of like a car air filter

one is like a metal strainer to catch big stuff

there are two filters actually

I should have said once the filter was replaced the flow was normal not cleared out

once cleared out the flow is normal

the filter was black and blocking water flow between the lower tank and the main tank

I thought the pump was shot but it wasnt

but the water was dribbling out similar to cum out of my dick in recent years

that water tank is now filling the main tank that I had drained this morning to clean it

so we had two skimmers installed and had a concrete slab put on top of the overflow, thus turning it into an extra water tank

into the overflow. So for an hour, the filter isn't recirculationg water

there was an overflow tank next to the pool. Filter goes on, water level rises in the pool, after an hour or so it spills over

when we bought the house, the pool filtration system was poorly designed
