the weeds here are much easier to pull out unless the ground is dry and caked in which case they just break off

if the root breaks the surface and doesn't find any light it doesn't get far

groundcover is your friend

ok well then maybe you can't pull it by the roots then

you'll never win the war but you can win enough small battles to keep it in check

yeah you gotta just grab what you can sometimes you can get several feet of root

but usually vinelike weeds can be pulled from the ground along with a good amount of root

but weedkiller doesn't work on vinelike weeds that lack broad leaves

or better yet if the weeds aren't mixed with desirables, then spray it with weedkiller

gotta get the root or it's pointless
