I got covid twice, and it was relatively mild. However, I didn't know that in advance. Most people that died were not vaccinated.

It's possible that the vaccine kept me from being hospitalized and on a ventilator or from death.

My partner's best friend got sick in early 2020, like Feb or March, when there was no vaccine. He was fit, and a cross country runner and kept running through his adult life. A few days before he got covid he ran 20 miles. He almost died several times. Four years later he has to use a walker and has a wheel chair. He is currently working with a physical therapist to build up strength again. I don't talk to him directly, but I'm betting he would have loved to have a vaccine available to him.

We don't know what will harm us, but I wasn't willing to roll the dice.

One thing I avoided getting…was the Pfizer vaccine. If you are forced to get a covid vaccine avoid Pfizer at all costs or any mRNA vaccine for that matter
