Good thing Donnie Dumb Fuck canceled mRNA research, because who wants to cure cancer?

Maybe one day the mRNA technology will find a cure for Dumbshitism.

Hear me out, I'm going to go out on limb here and suggest that the Stanford* University School of Medicine probably knows more about medicine and the various treatments than our friends here on BFF.

have done a tremendous job mitigating the COVID pandemic,” said Wu, the Simon H. Stertzer, MD, Professor and a professor of medicine and of radiology. “Without these vaccines, more people would have gotten sick, more people would have had severe effects and more people would have died.”

mRNA vaccines are viewed as a breakthrough because they can be produced quickly enough to keep up with sudden microbial strain changes and they can be rapidly adapted to fight widely divergent types of pathogens. But, as with all vaccines, not everyone who gets the shot experiences a purely benign reaction.

The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19, which have now been administered several billion times, have been heavily scrutinized for safety and have been shown to be extremely safe, said

The overall percentage of COVID-19 vaccine recipients who develop myocarditis is extremely low, estimated between 0.0005% and 0.0018% across the general population. This translates to roughly 5 to 18 cases for every 1 million doses administered

*Standford is generally considered a "conservative" leaning university, for those that find such things important.

One of my closest friends I've had since childhood nearly died of aggressive breast cancer when she was just 27 years old.

She had been given birth control pills when she was around 14, due to nightmarish and unmanageable periods. And it directly caused her to develop breast cancer later on.

Im not just saying that either, every doctor she had agreed, her cancer was because of the birth control. If you take it young, it can cause cancer. Not always obviously but that risk is there.

When it was discovered it was unstagable and aggressive measures were taken and they began chemo and radiation immediately. This woman went through absolute hell. It turned her into almost a ghost of herself. She ended up getting both breasts removed. Continued chemo. Was cleared of cancer two years later.

Shes been clear since, however.....the chemo/radiation destroyed her fertility and she has never been able to have children which devasted her. Her husband chose to end their marriage because he wanted biological children. And fuck him so hard for that to this day.

She never smoked, wasnt a drug user and didnt drink much and would have been a more stable mother than I was. IM the one who didnt actually want kids. But shes the one who was drug through this.

Shes good today. Healthy. Found a man she has been very happy with and he actually came with kids. A single father whose first wife passed away tragically. So their meeting was just perfect. She needed to be a mother, and these kids needed a mother. So her story had a happy ending. A LOT of other stories do not have happy endings.

But if there is a better way to fight a disease like this, im all about it. As far as it being toxic? What we do NOW is insanely toxic. Chemo alone is horrendous. Its literally chemical warfare and kills everything and it can possibly cause MORE cancer. We do it because this is what we have to work with.

The alternative is.....people just die. We either remove it, or we use radiation to hopefully kill it.

To me, a targeted therapeutic vaccine is a breath of fresh air.

I dont oppose the technology. I oppose the government forcing people to accept medical interventions.

mRNA based experiments are not vaccines.

mRNA based experiments are not vaccines.
I studied recombinant DNA in both high school and a decade later in college. That's what mRNA really is. has nothing to do with experimentation. Remember when they first decoded DNA in the early 70's, they started that coding in the early 60's. Now thanks to mRNA it takes literally seconds.

Tell me CRISPR shoudn't be used.

You're one fucking unintelligent idiot.

I hate to say this, but the entire medical feild is a massive experiment.

Thats why doctors have "practices". Medicine is trial and error.

A therapeutic vaccine is one given after you get the disease for the purpose of helping your body to fight it. A preventive vaccine is one that prevents you from getting the disease. Or getting horribly sick.

Be advised that despite vastly overwhelming approval and support in the Scientific and Medical communities, Dr Tootie Frootie wants you to know mRNA is bad juju, because some guy wearing a ball cap in his pick up said so.

If the covid shot had never been mandated outside of the medical profession and military (where everyone agrees going in to taking the vaccines that become available), I swear more people would have gotten it.

Had it just been released and the message was "Here it is, guys. Its brand spanking new, we know it works well but long term is a mystery but we believe it to be safe. If you want it come on and get it" more people would have been perfectly fine getting it.

The mandating fucked it.

There is a whole psychology to gaining cooperation from others and bull headed force is not it. Especially from a government that did experiments on people.

The mandates were bullshit and got way out of hand.

The population was primed for the fear event that manifested. Everybody believed the worst that they were told.

Exactly.

What should have happened was just CDC recommended guidelines and accurate as possible information as it came in.

As soon as business were forced to close, evictions being stopped (but not mortgage payments) and people were being told to get this vaccine or else.....nope. It was fucked.

And people are still mad. Lasting damage was done to peoples lives.

And now of course people want nothing to do with mRNA tech.

To call the mandates bullshit is an overly dramatic response especially in hindsight, this was a fast moving epidemic and the morbidity rates were not understood. were all the shutdowns and social distancing overkill? again in hindsight they probably were...but the mandates were not put in place just for fun or as a social experiment. Other countries were much stricter or harsher in their response than we were in the States,, this wasn't just Ouchie Fauci on a power trip, the whole world was scared 'to death' of this pandemic. What if we had done nothing and this virus was more contagious and lethal than it was and millions of people died, what would we say then?

Everyone was willing to cooperate right up until mandates and forcing people to close their businesses while big box businesses were allowed to operate.

I fully believe people, and Americans, and fully capable of making their own decisions and chosing what risk they feel okay taking. All we needed was the best and most accurate info and recommended guild lines and people could have managed thier own lives.

Destroying peoples livihoods isnt exactly helpful. And mandates did more damage because people who probably would have gotten the vaccine became mistrusting and pushed back.

And then, to add insult to injury, we have people who couldnt be wirh their dying loved ones. Nursing staff made comfort hands out of medical gloves. I have a friend whose mother died alone in the hospital. He couldnt see her.

And while this is happening, George Floyd's funeral hosted thousands of people.

That was FUCKED up. Just spat in the face of everyone. It sent the message "fuck your life and fuck your family".

Over the past 7 years (2020–2026), approximately 1.2 million people in the U.S. died from COVID-19. Over a similar recent 7-year tracking window, seasonal influenza resulted in an estimated 100,000 to 200,000+ total deaths (averaging 15,000 to 45,000 deaths annually, depending on the severity of each flu season). . However, public health groups note that the total impact is much higher. Total estimated or excess deaths globally range between 15 million and 35 million people. [

Influenza Deaths

    • Annual seasonal flu mortality fluctuates significantly based on circulating strains and vaccine effectiveness.
    • Typical U.S. annual burdens estimated by the CDC range between 12,000 and 52,000 deaths per normal seasonal year (for example, the 2024–2025 flu season caused an estimated 45,000 deaths).
    • Over 7 cumulative typical flu seasons, this scales to an estimated aggregate range of roughly 100,000 to 250,000 deaths. [

    Comparatively: Spanish Flu

  • 25 million to 50 million people worldwide, with some modern historical estimates suggesting the total may be 100 million or higher. In the United States alone, the virus caused approximately 675,000 deaths. [

Millions of people did die. More in the US than died of Spanish Flu.

One may wonder what the toll would have been w/o the various precautionary measures and the vaccine.

You are missing the point.

The point is, mandates made people REFUSE measures that they likely would have taken otherwise.

Mandating the vaccine, made people refuse and push back. People became VERY mistrusting, in combination with destroying peoples entire livihoods and shaming them for being upset about it

People were treated like absolute garbage. Called murderers for wanting to be with their dying loved ones or for fighting to keep their livihoods.

Had citizens been shown respect and their autonomy honored, they would have cooperated more and we probably would have seen LESS covid deaths.

Like when you show me that, I see a major failure in how it was handled.

@Holliday 3000 Did I not already tell you that your overuse of your little AI crutch makes you look thick and lazy?

Nothing wrong with consulting your search results and then composing a poast with your very own werdz, and maybe even a link to a relevant source if you can manage to make your very own point about something, but when you simply copy paste your AI regurgitation it makes you look weak and stupid.

... and yes, that sentence is grammatically correct.
