I'm of 2 minds about this. On the one hand, I don't like a NANNY GOOBERMINT making a bunch of woke rules about shit like this, when it's a personal decision and people like @SHAMPAIN and @Aryan (if they can ever afford to go out for a lobster dinner) should be able to decide for themselves what kind of joint to patronize. EVEN IF they wanna boil the poor crustaceans alive, I'd rather let them do it and feel smug and superior, rather than see them knuckle under to a government decree.

Besides, we humanoids did claw our way to the top of the food chain for a reason.

On the other hand, I have to wonder if any of those bureaucrats and MPs have ever toured a hog slaughterhouse, or watched calves being bled out to make that nice white VEAL they like so much. I'm pretty sure THOSE critters are "sentient" too. They sure act that way.

This is old news, lobsters have been despatched with a knife along the back of the head before boiling, I've stayed in many top hotels, chalet holidays in scotland every year which isn't cheap at all fuckwit... I've had lobster many times too... I've got money fahget... Steak dinners are about the same price as lobster here too...

You're asking yourself?

My bad lmao I was asking about his rating.. @Admin. what are you confused about?

i suppose anything with a brain is 'sentient' so we can drop admin into the pot feet first and not feel bad about it lol

im not a vegan so my take is, if god didnt want us eating animals he would not have made them out of food

but none should suffer on the way out

What's next, tomatoes?
The thing is, we're not actually built for eating red meat, our digestive system takes a few days to deal with it, think about meat just sitting there in your digestive system for a few days going bad, yuck! It tastes so good though...
Vegetables are really what we're meant to eat... Even seafood isn't what nature intended imo... I suppose there's an argument that we are meant to eat meat since humans have always hunted since the begining...

I love tomtoes lol

were omnivores and designed for both

Red meat should be more expensive and considered a rare treat, less cattle and battery hens should be a thing, the poor bastards get fucked on a massive scale, we should be passed that shit in 2021... I truly believe as we evolve animal slaughter for food will be minimal or gone completely...

Our digestive system says otherwise, I know we're classed as omnivores but that's because we've always eat meat lol

Actually we are omnivores and have those sharp pointy teeth to pull meat off of bone.

If our digestive system had evolved to mostly eat vegetation the average human would have abdominal features like animals that do eat mostly vegetation.

What do those animals look like?

Most of us aren't eating raw meat, Shamp. Somewhere along the line, hominids started cooking meat and then other food.

So what do other living primates eat, the ones with guts mostly like ours, eat? The diets of nearly all monkeys and apes (except the leaf-eaters) are composed of fruits, nuts, leaves, insects, and sometimes the odd snack of a bird or a lizard (see

). Most primates have the capacity for eating sugary fruit, the capacity for eating leaves and the capacity for eating meat. But meat is a rare treat, if eaten at all. Sure, chimpanzees sometimes kill and devour a baby monkey, but the proportion of the diet of the average chimpanzee composed of meat is small. And chimps eat more mammal meat than any of the other apes or any of the monkeys. The majority of the food consumed by primates today--and every indication is for the last thirty million years--is vegetable, not animal.

He said this:

"The most widely cited comparison of the guts of chimps, humans, gorillas and orangutans has sample sizes of one individual for both chimps and orangutans, so just how much larger the large intestines of chimps or orangutans are relative to ours is not yet known. Our relatively short large intestines might be an adaptation to our special diet, but might also be the consequence of a tradeoff between investing in big brains and big intestines."

It sounds like the jury is still out scientifically.

Observationally, most herbivores have huge digestive systems, hippos, elephants, giraffes, cows, manatees, horses, rhinos, etc.

Most meat eaters are sleek: felines and canines...

Lady…given a choice, a primate would choose meat over vegetables. Even they know that it’s easier to get their protein more efficiently out of meat than that of vegetables.

Tell you what. YOu go have yourself an inspect pie. Wash it down with some bird piss if you like. And I'll sit here an enjoy this wonderful juicy ribeye cooked to perfection

with some clams boiled in butter and white whine and maybe some Jumbo shrimp who's painful deaths I don't give the slightest fuck about
