It's why I actually cling to the idea of social evolution. To the hope that one day all humans can share with one another; understand that we all deserve liberty and basic necessities.

I think some of us humans are stuck with whether everyone "deserves" liberty, happiness and well-being. Until we stop being judgmental about who is deserving, we're fucked.

I understand perfectly what you're saying. And as I've stated before, most people are not evil, they want the best for everyone, but in the end, we're also very misguided, so we really don't know how to achieve that kind of utopic success.

The biggest obstacle we face our current "people stock". A lot of good people on the world, but even good people can do bad things because they don't know better.

And on top of that, we have a lot of important things that are being left aside and they're essential for a peaceful, decent world. We put a lot of faith in the material stuff. We think that if everyone has all the basics in life, they all should be happy. We are convinced that if people have food, shelter, a good non-toxic job, healthcare and a society free of things like oppression, racism and judgement, everything will be fine. But at the same time, you see people who have that and more and yet, they're still unhappy and capable of doing terrible things.

Because the model for success is based on material wealth and power. It's never enough. Look at Musk. The man is clearly not a happy man and he's the richest man on the planet - officially at the very least.

I don't think people fully realize that when we give we are happiest. Our time, our energy, and maybe even some of our money to others so that they are in a better place.

I will tell you right now, I'm happiest when I am in service to my family and friends. In my career. I don't need "stuff". I have so much freaking "stuff".

When we figure that out, things will change. We are a social species, we need to be in service to one another.

I think anyone that commits a crime ought to be charged and convicted if found guilty. I don't think petty crimes, such as shoplifting, ought to be looked over. And the penalties increased as the crimes are worse.

All I would also like to see is that public defenders be funded equally as district attorneys so that we have fair outcomes. The rich get away with things that the impoverished, of any color, do not.

I don't care where the rich celebrities are going; though I doubt there's a run to Australia.
