Again. The Greatest Generation...that fought in WW2 against the nazis...lived in an age in which Christian conservative values were the norm and most people had them.

Perhaps if Trump wasn't such a horrible man & his policies weren't so severe, Charlie Kirk might still be alive @Dove.

I remember what the Father of W Bush, George HW Bush said about creating a kinder gentler nation. Governing a country is not a zero sum game. A leader sometimes needs to give a bit to the other side too. Otherwise you get incidents like these.

Seems like Kirk paid for the excesses of Trump. Kirk reminds me of the son Trump loved but his misdeeds lead to his death. Almost reads like a tragic tale of the tyrant who is blind to his own flaws. But the son ends up as a sacrifice at the alter.

For the past 10 years we have seen media and democrats consistently pounding in a message that republicans and Trump are nazis, fascists, racists, authoritarians. Non fucking stop.

So basically what you are saying is, we need to get in line and never challange anything. Behave. Dont piss off the democrat party and make them have to defame you to the point where mindless Americans feel like they need to shoot us or use violence.

How about we blame the shooter? And have real conversations about character smearing and propaganda? We have grown adults who cannot even tell you what fascism even is, and have no idea what political and economic frame work the nazis had (which BTW has far more in common with the US left wing) who are so brainwashed with hate and fear they are celebrating the murder of an innocent man because of his political views.
