I was wondering something. I'm not certain what kind of license or package that you have with XF, but have you ever considered adding a 'Drag & Drop' feature just for images? It will make things easier I think. It will bypass all of those fucking image hosts and their stringent rules. Maybe we can get enough members to donate a small amount of cash depending on what it will cost, unless you already have it and choose not to use it.

I copy images to my HD all the time. Can't link them without a third party host, especially off my phone.

Yeah, it's pain in the ass. I use stock photos and remove the their logos. It used to work posting them, but now not so much.

Sounds like a usable upgrade, if it's even that.

What would it cost for a plugin like that @Bastard Factory ?
