@Iggy McLulz - I like to do fresh asparagus in a satay pan with water, butter and sea salt… blanched in cold water while it’s still crunchy and then blasted with squeezed lemon served as an appetizer.
I’m soiled… my daddy grew corn in our backyard. You can get close with frozen cob ears boiled in water, mild and sugar. But nothing compares to the late summer fresh harvest.
