    One time in an attic I found a room that had been walled up, a bunch of toys, clothes, books, stuff from the 40's

    One time I found something that looked like a battering ram, I thought it was one of those dirt compacting machines but it comes out it was a fucking gas powered pogo stick

    It was a free-for-all as all us grunts started ripping into those old books looking for the money. I got a couple hundred in 20s and 10s myself. No telling how much was there all together.

    Fruit is correct though, even into the 70s the meadowlands area was farmlands. I did not grow up in that area but in a typical middle class private community with a lake on which to fish. There were farms there still when I was a youngster.

    Another time we were clearing out an old folks home in Florida. When me and another guy tossed an old bookcase full of encyclopedias into the dumpster, a bunch of money flew out of all the old books.
