| A new poll conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute found that an alarming 23 percent of Republicans polled said they believe the QAnon conspiracy theory’s central belief that “government, media, and financial worlds are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who run a sex-trafficking operation.” Just 8 percent of Democrats and 14 percent of independents surveyed agreed with the same statement. Twenty-eight percent of Republicans who took part in the poll, which involved 5,149 people, also said they agree that a storm will soon “sweep away the elites in power and restore the rightful leaders.” Additionally, 42 percent of Americans who trust far-right news sources the most agreed that “because things have gotten so far off-track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.” About 27 percent of Americans who trust Fox News the most agreed with the same statement. |
Thank you for offering more evidence that the alt-right is batshit crazy.
That's not what "alt right" even is, Lotus. Dude stop slapping labels you dont know the meaning of on people you dont know anything about.
These links do not show how "crazy" anyone is. This is....once again....corporate media forming a divisive narrative. It shows the well earned lack of trust a growing number of Americans have in a government that is consistently showing they do not have our interests as a priority. That lie.
How many of those 23% are former democrat voters? Why does it matter that people bought into a conspiracy (further fueled and reinforced by the corporate media that LIES and smears on a regular basis).
And why does the media suddenly care about political violence that ISNT happening after ignoring all the devastating political violence that was ruthlessly inflicted on innocent communities that resulted in people....children included....being murdered?
You know you like to see yourself as "anti establishment" and for the workers but then you march right along with the establishment. Believing thier narratives and turning on/dehumanizing other parties. Supporting or defending policies that remove jobs. I just dont understand how any of you can say you are FOR the people while bashing, smearing, otherising the people in favor of the corporate political establishment.
Which people are RIGHT to NOT trust the establishment. Or corporate media "State TV".
You call insult people all day but the fact that people are so lacking in trust isnt going to change and it shouldnt. You are slamming the wrong people.
