Including the CT scan, bloodwork, and a one-night hospital stay, I paid 10 euros, which is about $10. And I have public health insurance. On top of that, I don't have the fear and anxiety of being shot in public because of the rampant gun violence in the U.S. Germany is not a sexy place to live, and it's difficult living here when you're not fluent in the language.
