I'm not sure what happens with chronic drug users. Some seem to escalate. I guess whatever they're using just doesn't do it for them anymore.

Lots of peeps that are opioid addicts, get started down the dusty road of street drugs when Dr.s prescribe them a pain med. cut them off, then they go to the street to get the next best equivalent.

It was like that with me. When weed wasn't cutting it anymore I moved on to Demerol plus the weed. Fucked me up big time. Back then I was a different person though. Going out to beaches at night with the whole bon fire deal with friends and small gatherings. Now that I'm much older the weed does the trick because I'm not smoking a fraction of what I used to. I just like to light up do some gaming and post on here.

I smoked crack a few times decades ago, a nice buzz for a few minutes I never got addicted...many other guys tried it fewer times and are suddenly full blown junkies. I'm not saying I'm superman and could never become addicted to crack. It just didn't happen on my few occasions.

I'm glad to hear that you didn't get hooked on that. Could've destroyed your life. I also could have destroyed my life taking opiates. So many people react so many different ways to drugs. I knew a guy that tried smoking weed and he started crying ffs.

My younger step brother loved smoking the weed with our mutual friends early on in High School, he quit after a while it was giving him anxiety attacks.

The body is basically like a scientific equation…what you put in, is what you get out. One can’t spend their time getting high all the time…without hitting an all-time low when they can’t get that hit.
