Never played the first, will get the second because it looks so much better than the first.

I have the first one; both regular edition and Director's Cut.

I have not played it, but plan to.

If you do not mind waiting, I will post a review after I play it and let you know if I recommend playing it first. Sometimes the experience of playing a sequel is diminished if you miss the original.
