Many of these med school graduates these days are so bright, educated & qualified that they don't even have to practice medicine if they choose not to. Some already have their masters, PhDs, engineerING or law degrees. In other words they are qualified to be professors or practitioners in another field. They got options. So if a state points a gun at their heads they might well say..."Who needs this shit? I'll do something elsr or practice obstetrics in a state where there are no hassles or legal restrictions." So the red states will eventually have a problem with highly qualified professionals fleeing them. It might end up with a situation where there is no obgyn available in poorer states. Or else the only people they'll be able to find are foreign born less qualified doctors from say - South Africa because they'll do anything to get into the US so they can get their green cards. So they may end up with a huge disparity between blue and red states where obgyn's are concerned.
