Not exactly a documentary...but it's excellent.

Interesting factual information, including one data point that surprised me: 10K Latinos fought for US Independence and gave George Washington $2 million dollars to fund the American revolutionary troops (Episode 2)

Methamphetamine is a synthetic drug known for psychoactive effects. It is classified as a central nervous system stimulant and comes in a variety of forms such as powder, tablets, crystals and rock-like chunks. Depending on its form, methamphetamine can be snorted, injected, ingested or smoked.

Methamphetamine produces a euphoric high and can be used to increase alertness, energy and self-confidence. It also produces harmful physiological and psychological effects including headache, elevated heart rate and body temperature, hallucinations and delusions. Regular use is associated with an increased risk of addiction, psychotic symptoms and cognitive impairment such as memory loss.

Methamphetamine is often produced illegally in laboratories using inexpensive chemicals found in medications, such as ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. Illegal production can be dangerous due to the toxicity of other chemicals used and the high risk of explosions.

Magic: The Gathering, or MTG, is a well-loved trading card game that has captivated collectors and players alike since it was created in 1993. From its simple beginnings as a card game designed by creator Richard Garfield to the global phenomenon it is today, MTG has shaped the landscape of trading card games. But how did it get started, and how has it evolved to become perhaps the most well-known trading card game in history? Let’s take a look.

Developed to solve the language barriers its creator had when making friends during travels to Bangladesh and Nepal, the first edition of MTG, known as Alpha, was released in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast. It introduced players to the concept of deck building, and was a collectible card game that could only at this point be played in person. Due to the success of Alpha, it was quickly followed by Beta and Unlimited, and these earlier cards are now highly sought-after by those who wish to gain a piece of the original history of the game.
