There's an "anomaly" on earth's magnetic field and it's epicenter is right over Brazil. For a few years, reports of strange behavior have been happening, but now it's becoming more widespread. A few days ago, things started getting worse. People are reporting that electronics and appliances are working when they're NOT PLUGGED on the outlet and someone died when they were hanging their clothes outside. Of course, this is being kept quiet.

It sounds like what the First People in North America call a Power Point. There are half a dozen of them in the US, at least. You have odd weather patterns and magnetic anomalies, compasses don't work right and sometimes get real crazy. I'm pretty sure there are such points all over the globe, and maybe with the current spasms the earth is having they might be moving around.

The shift is just another cycle, the solar wind bends and molds earth's magnetic field, which's always under stress. Eventually, it has to shift. You can do the same with a normal metal magnet.

Strictly speaking, it's the sun's own magnetic sphere that interacts with the earth's and not the solar winds themselves (which streamers are themselves influenced by that heliosphere just as they are, to a lesser extent, by Earth's magnetosphere).

A fascinating subject, this. No light show quite like an aurora borealis (or australis, if you're living down under).
