But he's expensive, $1k. Cute AF...there are so many rescues, but not nearly as cute as this little guy. What to do...
Move rural Joe, and never have to walk your dog again! Dogs out here are free... They have room to be dogs.Yeah I'd rather have a cat than a dog.
Much lower maintenance.
I'd rather not own a pet that requires several walks...daily
Dogs would monopolize your available time whereas cats would not.
Dogs are like a child that never grows up while cats are like a fixture or piece of furniture.
They're just there.
Ya don't need to worry about them too much.
I promise you, he doesn’t give a fuck!!!
I have a soft spot for rescues, fwiw.

It's crazy here too, as I feel a Golden Retriever would be the best fit for me and my larger rural property. Ever since Covid hit, breeders are working above capacity... Supply/Demand, and they can almost charge what they want. Nearest breeders that seem quality are actually in Washington State, which is no problem since I'm an hour from the border, but I'm not vaxxed, so that's still a no-go for now. We've been looking for a Golden Retriever puppy but breeders are demanding between $5k and $10k. I noticed in other states the prices are much lower.
Is that a Main Coon?
I love them. If you want him......prepared a VERY large and high energy cat. You are gonna need a large litter box, no cover on it. And a large cat tree.
You would probably do well to harness and leash train him. It's not weird to walk a cat and it's really good for them. It will stop him from starting problem behaviors.
Assuming that's a Main Coon...he looks like one but his ears dont look very Main Coonish from that angle. They almost always have large ears and fur that sticks up on the top....they are also usually more than 1k.
I have friend who breeds and sells these guys. I'd love to have one but I already have a bunch of rescue cats.

Buy him if you want him.
And take home 2 or 3 rescues so he has buddies.
i fostered a maine coon cat for two weeks, it was huge but he pissed everywhere but the litter box
thats the problem with cats in general, the pissing everywhere.
