Someone should put a chip in Trump's brain. At least he'd have a few facts in his head then.
I remember talking to my favorite Econ Professor one lovely spring day in the Park Blocks in the early 80's, we were touching on this in talking about human and economic development, he with his pacemaker me with titanium holding my leg together...and epileptics with whatever they call those chips they put in their brains to control seizures, artificial hearts, now we have stints in our veins, valves we can implant in our chest to treat sleep apnea. Man and machine are creeping closer together.

Oh. Ooooops. I didn't mean to make this thread political. It's not meant to be.

It's just a thread about intelligence.

Honest!!!!!
That’s cool….my cat is more intelligent than trump so it’s easy to fall into that thought pattern.. :Happy5:

With respect to singularity- Some suggest that while AI will continue to advance, the complexities and unforeseen challenges of achieving superintelligence might delay the singularity beyond this century, if it happens at all. Technological, ethical and regulatory challenges might all potentially slow the pace of AI development.
