Drivebys and mass murders have been a thing in liberal cities for decades. Never seen you weeping about that.
Which libtard media outlet gave you your shrieking orders on this one?
I guess Christmas is over, eh Bigly?
Then there's the hangover in January.
Maybe people aren't in such a good mood these days.
I have called for the end of the War on Drugs for ages. It will end almost all the drug violence that happens when POC distribute the drugs for the cartels to Americans.
These mass shootings at random public venues is a whole other level of violence. Going to a club, a movie, the mall, school...it's completely insane.
There must be some valid reason why America that considers itself to be the model all other countries want to be, leads the developed world in gun deaths. It is tough to say that the violence will end.
Maybe violent criminals will be violent criminals, so if one form of violent crime is taken away, they will just more onto other forms of violent crime. I would rather see drug wars than innocent businesses being targeted in extortion schemes or more home invasions, etc. etc.

Conservatives love to point out all the gun violence in Chicago, without thinking about what the source of that violence is about, turf wars.If people aren't fighting over drug "territory", a lot of the violence will be taken out of the equation. I'm sure of that.

I don't know, that seems to be a false dilemma to me.
Sorry Eunuch, this is not the tangent thread. Then I am sure you will join us in oppose the Democrats open borders which allow record amounts of drugs into the country. No? Gee, it appears you don't care about solving any problems then.

Just do murder. If I am going to murder someone and I do not have easy access to a gun, I will use something else.

I think violence will be taken out of the drug crime equation and put into another "high risk/high profit" crime area.
Other types of crime would get more violent because it is not the crime that is inherently violent, it is that some of the criminals will use violence to get an advantage over the competition. There is nothing about drug crime that makes it inherently violent; it just so happens to be the most profitable crime, so it is the type of crime that the violent criminals gravitate to.
So, how come countries with fewer firearms don't have high murder rates?
Why do some countries with fewer firearms have way higher murder rates than USA?
I don't think it works that way. Crime or violence transference, if you will? Do you have any evidence that people that are violent get involved in drug crime?
There are millions, if not billions, of men that beat up on women across the globe. Surely, they are violent men. I doubt that most are involved in other violent crime.
Some criminals are violent. They will gravitate to the most profitable form of crime. Their violence will push out the non-violent criminals to other, less profitable forms of crime.
That's not answering my question. You're deflecting. And, we should compare apples to apples...
I bet we have the highest death rate by firearms of any industrialized 1st world nation.
Your question is not relevant to the point. There will be an array of reasons that murder rates are different in different countries.
My point is simple: I someone wants to kills someone, they can do it in a bunch of different ways. Not only guns.
To think that removing the guns will remove all the murders that were committed by guns is wrong. Get rid of guns and watch murder by knife rise. Get rid of knives and watch murder by poison rise. Etc. etc.
Where is your evidence?
I see a lot of opinion, but no facts.
Do you have any facts to argue?
Or just opinion?
Guns make it easier. There is no doubt in my mind that having a weapon makes it easier to kill.
Getting close enough to stab someone with a knife takes a lot more gumption or crazy.
I am not making assertions, I'm asking questions about yours.
Sure. But if someone wants to kills someone, they will figure it out.
Why do you thinks murder rates are so high in countries that have very few guns?
I don't think it works that way.
So you neither agree nor disagree?
Here. Do you have evidence?
