Trump should fix the problems in his own country before attempting to take over others @LotusBud

He likes to think of himself as a benign America First Nationalist, but in fact is just another greedy money grubbiing Globalist. Make no doubt about it. Trump wants to extend Pax Americana further than W Bush could have ever dreamed of.
All his sabre rattling will eventually lead to more military engagements and more Wars for America.
Trump doesn't seem to realize that many countries just don't find America that Great anymore.
Especially under him.

Actually jack I think the US military wants an Independent Canada because it serves as a buffer state against nuclear attacks. So the idea is the warheads will come over arctic and the missile defense shield would shoot them down. This in turn would lessen the harmful impact on radioactive fallout because Canada would bear the brunt of that. Why let it fall on the US? May as well be Canadians who get hit with the worst of it first.
I don't think Trump understands that.

And the oil that comes into the US is discounted 30% from Northern Alberta/Canada. Same time that area has to deal with the environmental problems and pollution it causes. So its Canada's problem not the United States.
Discounted oil plus having another country having to clean up the mess is actually a good deal for the US. I bet the oil producers on US soil cant deliver oil to Americans that cheap. Plus theres always complaints about the pollution it causes on American soil in places like the Dakotas
If the US took over Canada then the environmentalists in America would be screaming about the oil pollution in Fort McMurray

Another thing is America's fuel costs would go up not down if the US took over Canada @jack
Presently Canadian oil is sold at 30% less than opec prices. Plus the Canadian consumer pays a lot of taxes on that oil so in a sense it shields the American consumer from the costs from buying elsewhere. A gallon of gas imported from Canada is cheaper in most states than most places in Canada.
However if Canada gets taken over I dont think American oil companies will give US citizens a break because their motive is profit. Plus the US dollar is expensive & the American consumer will pay more for oil they supposedly own from a country theyve just taken over.
That's all Trump and his friends think about. Is enriching themselves. They dont even care about the average American whose fuel costs would go up if the US takes over Canada. Just like he doesn't care about the impact of tarrifs he is about to impose on the American consumer.
The middle class will end up subsidizing the wealthy during a Trump administration.
Trump doesn't care about sky high deficits either & the pain it will cause the average American l. As far as hes concerned the more debt the better because his class wont end up paying for it
