[QUOTE="Holy Holliday !, post: 1422715, member: 13772"] Prowler prattled: He was addressing this part of the OP: ...and? What "liberals" are no longer into natural remedies? See if you can sift through the article and find the answer, or maybe you can conduct a survey and establish exactly when this happened and why liberals no longer are into natural remedies. "no longer" first of all implies that they were individually and/or collectively "into" them. Who among liberals are no longer "into" natural remedies? Some of them, all of them? What do the studies and surveys say? Nope - there were no dots to connect the silly troll question to the subject of Captain Brain Wermz being fucked up. Now if it seemed that admin was mocking the use of natural remedies you have 2 issues (3 really) to overcome here. 1) admin may never have been "into" natural remedies so "no longer" wouldn't apply to him individually even if 2) he was a liberal (now the issue here may be the small vs capital L), but one way of the other there is an assumption that admin is, as I would put it "a Liberal", which as I had previously pointed out, having known him through the netz for going on 20 years would not be my characterization. Bonus 3) also - it is possible that one could scoff at the use of natural remedies (while still valuing them at other times) in the case of a pandemic, a pathogen to which there is no collective immunity to such as I alluded was the case of the Black Death in Europe (50 million dead) or Smallpox ravaging the native population in the Americas (55 million dead). During the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918/19 Elderberry was one of the only remedies used and available at the time. 50 million died. Having a healthy immune system achieved through healthy diet and exercise is important. I'm a practitioner, but it won't fully mitigate genetic flaws or environmental stressors or fully/reliably combat previously uncontacted virus' etc. It's just stupid thinking to believe it will. Had there been a know effective non-pharma remedy to Covid, I would have opted for it, but there wasn't (and fish aquarium pills don't count). It is never no mind to me that I despise Big Pharma for good reason. When they have a useful product, I will use it. I would no more boycott it at the risk of life than I would boycott my landlord for rent gouging and go homeless, or starve by boycotting grocery store prices. So, sorry, dear - no dots to connect.
