So I am going to use this thread as an opportunity to demonstrate how flexing can make average sized muscles look bigger. I mean, this seems obvious...but since posting a picture of me flexing my bicep, I have had a couple of "steroids" comments sent my way. It is so silly, really. But I think some people do not understand that flexing will temporarily increase the size of muscles.
This actually is something that started years ago on a different forum....
There was this poster.....Oak....claimed to be a woman. I called her jOak....because....well, she was a joke of a person. Like, not a serious person at all. She tried to be serious, but was just too stupid to be taken seriously.
Anyways, I posted the following picture of me and my dog. It was taken in the Smoky Mountains.
That jOak person went on and on about how my right leg was underdeveloped.
"You must have a serious problem!! You are gimpy!!! Gimpy right leg!!!" Just retarded stuff.
I was
"No, it is the way my feet are positioned." Because of the way they are on the rocks, my left foot is pointing down so my left calf muscles are kind flexing, and my right foot pointed up so my right calf muscle is stretched.
It seemed that jOak and a few other posters could not understand the concept, and it seems that there are a few people here who are similarly challenged.
I have a few pictures that show my legs and will demonstrate the "flexing" effect.
I might as well take the opportunity to teach some people who seem to be confused (like you
@Jack).
