I'm actually really sad about this. I was exposed to Meatloaf as a child because my mother had the Bat out of Hell 8 track. And a player. I thought it was coolest thing and I used to listen to it all the time. I had a stressful childhood and I escaped into music a lot.

I was so excited when I was in middle school and Bat out of Hell 2 came out.

I always wanted to go see him in concert but never got the chance. He had such a powerful and distinct voice and he was very much one of a kind. And Jim Steinman started my love of piano.
