I live in the UK where guns are hard to get... Strict conditions need to be met, you need valid reasons for owning them and you pay out of your arse for them... Any criminal history whatsoever is reason to stop you owning them...

We still have a lot of gun crime... Criminals don't care about laws...

I'm in favour of background checks because lets be honest, some folks should not be allowed to own firearms.

For example some guy who just got out of prison after serving time for beating his wife should not be allowed firearms.

Why are people over there always on about the AR15?... They're pretty shit for killing humans... .22cal is good for squirrels, rabbits and foxes not people...

Ban the AR15 and there won't be many survivors in the next shooting... There's larger calibre semi-autos, shotguns with 1oz slugs etc that dramatically reduce your chance of survival, if hit...
