PS: The March revolution that lead to the Czar's abdication was carried out by Liberals who intended to create a western style democracy, it was from them the Bolsheviks took control, taking the hope of a people's rule as well. ...and bloodless? Really - ask the Romanovs who were ruthlessly murdered while the counter revolution raged on.
Today, even recently on this board, modern american conservatives indicate their distain for democracy by pointing out that we do not live in a democracy but a republic. They like to disagree with the very concept of people's rule. We do live in a representative democracy/democratic republic and indeed elect the officials who are supposed to represent us (but of course generally do whatever the fuck they please once in office - or their corporate sponsors please). However that may be, you see how propagandists are training these weak minded contardian trumputinists to despise and disbelieve in the efficacy of democracy, acknowledge it's failure, call for succession, and civil war under the guiding voice of a single infallible authoritarian leader, just as Orwell warned.

I think he's always angry at everything - it's not just antifa. It's the mark of a person who feels impotent, not in control of his/her life, and frustrated by not understanding how things work.

Well, yes, it all went to shit, but my understanding of the original revolution and the people behind it is that it was a cause that was entirely justified, and the fight was for a more just system.
Unfortunately, there were people involved, and people always seem to somehow fail each other.
