PS: The March revolution that lead to the Czar's abdication was carried out by Liberals who intended to create a western style democracy, it was from them the Bolsheviks took control, taking the hope of a people's rule as well. ...and bloodless? Well, yes, it all went to shit, but my understanding of the original revolution and the people behind it is that it was a cause that was entirely justified, and the fight was for a more just system.
