1. There are two "areas" (metaphorically speaking) to a messageboard:
A. "On-Stage"; this covers all activity which is publicly viewable.
B. "Backstage"; this covers all activity which is not publicly viewable.
2. Don't be a dick backstage. It's like the "Green Room" behind an episode of Jerry Springer; save the brawling for the cameras.
3. Don't bring people into a fight who aren't here to enjoy and participate themselves. It's dirty pool to take shots at people who can't shoot back.
4. PI constitutes "backstage" information. There's plenty of ammunition on-stage -- if you aren't skilled enough to make use of that, bow out of the fight.
5. Spam and lames are low-effort and low-IQ. Respect yourself enough to hold yourself to a higher standard than that.
