I would like to think that my ancestors will provide me with the wisdom to be the great chef that I am.

I have been cooking with my grandmothers since I was 8. I love to cook and have gotten quite good at it. People are typically surprised when they are at my table, but I couldn’t point you to a book. I just understand herbs and food because I’ve been around it my entire life and my Irish grandmother grew everything at her table except the meat and potatoes in her backyard.

I can’t keep a house plant alive, but I can cook like a pro and I don’t use recipes. I choose to believe that it’s my ancestors who are guiding me as I create a lot of the dishes that I created and still serve my children.
