I kinda think the GOP is slowly realizing that Trump is past his sell by date, at this point slightly smoother Trump Lite Rhonda Santis is the heir apparent for the GOP ticket, as for now anyway. But when JFK Jr. returns "The conventional wisdom" is out the door. All bets are off, it's a brand new ballgame.

I like Trump but realise his shtick becomes tiresome at some point to most a bit like Blandscape posts, Santa is further to the right than Trump so could out flank him.

I don't think DeSantis wants to have an all out war with Trump. It's a losing proposition for all involved. I could be wrong though, he might perceive Trump as a failed politician at this point.

Vanity Fair posted a report that Donnie has blamed everyone, including his wife, for the midterms.

We have a true narcissist at work here…. I’m sure the attempt to resurrect the confederacy, overthrow our government and the nuke rumors have nothing to do with this. (I said this tongue in cheek for those who are not fluent in sarcasm).

I think so too, he is more polished and presents a more professional demeanor, which does make him more dangerous, look at some of his knee jerk actions he's made like Disney for example.
