I'm interested in going
@The Prowler.
It's not quite the Superbowl in the States where tickets are starting. at $10,000 for the crappiest end zone seats.
You can get some decent seats for under $500.
GC may be small time by comparison, but it's Canadian....eh?
Since it might not sell out, there's usually scalpers or 3rd party ticket centers that reduce the prices before the game starts. So I'll try my luck on the day of the game.
I've noticed that when the GC came to Vancouver before, it had a small town community atmosphere to it.
Kinda folksy low key laid back. Not high pressure & unreal like the SuperBowl.
I remember the Hamilton Ti Cats were in town & their cheerleaders.
They weren't glamgirl SuperModel types, but just plain looking working class girls from Hamilton who looked like they did cheerleading as a side hustle or job. More like they were recruited from a high school.
Some werent' even that good looking at all, but at least they looked like normal average people.
I kinda like that actually, that they were real Canadians more like someone's neighbours as opposed to a media creation.
Yeah I'd like to go if I can.
Grey Cup isn't the big deal when I was a Kid, but it's still there & I'd like to see it Live at least once in my lifetime.
We need events like it to keep the country together....eh?
