The real world of UFOs

President trump lied to us during his 2021 to present day presidency and we should have turned the page!

But we didn't. And now he will do all the very bad things he wants to do in his first year in office this time that he didn't do last time.

rotfflmgdao!!!

What exactly are you doing in this thread?

Luis Elizondo, the guy in this interview, is actually quite brilliant. It's worth the watch. He's not a nutjob. The title and thumbnail are very misleading. He doesn't literally say aliens live among us. He talks about perception and visibility, such as our inability to see microorganisms. It's a great interview.

So, Elizondo says we have to believe in possibility, look at the data, then draw conclusions. He's very reasonable.

I do think it's a possibility that there's alien life.

It's worth watching. Just like videos from Heather Cox Richardson are worth watching. Her talk with Jon Stewart I posted was a good one. Hopeful, given the results of the election.

I think for humans to dismiss the possibility that some other "intelligent" life exists beyond our little planet is arrogant to the point one might almost think anti UFO thinking might be inline with much of Conservative thought, fear of the other.

But like lots of peeps, a lot of the pro UFO people seem silly and off putting to us.

I cannot think of a conservative which has dismissed the possibility of life outside of our planet. To elevate US, as in mankind, to the center of all things is more of a libtard thing. Me- ism at it's finest

Whereas conservatives, more often than not, are willing to yield to the idea of a higher power that has divine jurisdiction over us all.

Do you people always projection was is deep down in your own inner darkness unto others like this?

Why did Galileo die, I forget?

Yes, many of them are cray cray. But there are many legitimate things that have happened, and the government could probably stop hiding them from us and we'd survive.

Let's see. I'm going to go out on a limb here and attempt to see the world from your myopic point of view.

Galileo died because one of Trump's great ancestors wasn't killed at birth.

There you go again one track mind, that's what TDS does for you. Galileo was murdered for questioning Earth's dominion over the heavens.

Speaking of UFOs and one attempt to connect with them

Poor old obscure blind man sitting in a motel room at the beginnings of the republican led great depression, recording music for the Universe.

"If only this man knew he would end up representing everything we've ever known, and everything that will ever be known about us."

I finished watching it today. I think I agree with what you said here. He does bring up several questions that are interesting or concerning, some even almost in passing.
I had a very interesting biology teacher in hi school, he spent part of a class just suggesting that if there is other life what that life form would look like, earth is carbon based life forms...what if the first batch of Aliens are based on some different element, like silicon or whatever....could our differences actually coexist biologically, what if our bodies were severe allergens to them?

I remember thinking about him while watching the movie Arrival from a few years ago, that addressed that idea.

Oh, Arrival is based on a (long) short story by Ted Chiang -- The Story of Your life is one of the titles it goes by -- which is one of the most brilliant stories I have ever read in my life. And I have 3 degrees in English, so I have read a lot. Highly, highly recommended if you like to read. The story is fairly different from the movie in some key ways.

Sorry. I couldn't resist since you mentioned Arrival. :Happy5:

But if you ignore Deport, where will you dock Deship?
