In the car biz in an earlier time, a common strategy on many retail car lots with customers 'in the box' was what we called "Hit Figures". What that meant was shocking suggested figures meant to immediately disarm and soften the consumers attempts at embarrassing themselves with demands for unrealistic trade equity, or stupid low payments, or interest rates their own credit history does not support etc.
Trumps. early nominations for important cabinet positions are comic opera awful....I think this is a conscious effort on their part to wear down the resistance outrage, before they introduce the real cabinet posts, even if they have to bring them onboard as "Interim" Like in Trump Junta 1.0
