I saw The Who in 1982 at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto.
It was general admission and the whole field was open (no seats or anything) so it was a zoo. I loved it. I was on the field and stayed about 50 feet back from the stage in front of John Entwistle. If you got any closer, you would get kinda sucked into the flow of the crowd, end up and the front, then pulled under a barrier and sent out the sides and to the back of the crowd....way back.
The best big venue concert I have ever seen.
