I think the Republicans tried the 1st time with George W Bush but they imploded.
so each time they hack away at the economic, social & political underpinnings of your Republic to get their way in their pursuit of Absolute Power.
so like the Nazis in 1930s Germany, they've gained this supremacy & evidently...they don't want to let it go this time.
hence Trump, Musk and others will try to destabilize the underpinnings so there's no turning back the clock.
