Brad Parscale, campaign advisor to US President Donald J. Trump who until recently was his campaign manager, has resigned as an advisor after being recently arrested outside his home, a member of Trump's campaign team reports.
Parscale was arrested on Sunday after his wife called the police.
As manager, Parscale was primarily responsible for President Trump's reelection campaign, but was pushed aside this summer. That happened after a campaign rally in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, attracted fewer visitors than Trump had hoped. He then took on an advisory role on the Republican president's digital campaign.
