So do you stack silver and gold, when you retire soon?

Hope you have some money/investments when you retire.
Yeah that's what I'm planning to do @UncleDiLF

Buying gold and 1 year guaranteed certificates was just a start.

Go from safe to more risk to highest risk is how I plan to proceed.

I currently have nothing invested in the stock market. Not saying there will be a downturn or crash in 2025 but I believe things will be slower and more volatile after the US election no matter which of their parties win. So I plan to invest when the dust settles and share prices might fall a bit.

Theres no sense in buying now when many share prices appear to be at all time highs. Even the good safe blue chip stocks seem expensive right now.

Example is RBC or Roysl Bank of Camada one if the largest banks in the world and bought by Investors worldwide.

Why bother investing in a big way now if prices could fall next year? Stock like RBC is trading at over $100 a share now. But it could fall to $70 or $80. Smart buyer waits for bargains

Even if this assumption is wrong it's best to err on the side of caution

He does not need much money. He is almost dead. He is a walking corpse.
...and yet all the gold, silver & platinum I have is worth more than yer Corvette that you paid too much for Lex @The Prowler.

Actually it could fit on the front seat of your car Lex.

But while you spend all that money on maintenance, gas & insurance for your car which depreciates by 10% annually, my gold went up 25% since last year Lex. And I just leave it sitting in a vault and it doesn't require any maintenance or repairs.

So in 10 years your car might be worth only 1/2 or less of what you paid for it. Given inflation, your car might only be worth $30,000 in 10 years Lex. Meanwhile my gold may be worth $200,000-300,000....or more! Plus I spent less on it than you did, Lex.

And all I had to do was let it sit in a vault.

Funny how inverse logic works, eh Lex?

The hobbies of some make money while others like yours...are money pits, Lex. Your Corvette continues to lose money every day you own it Lex. The more you pay the more you lose.

The Devil's got yer money now and he's smiling and laughing atcha, Lex.

I'd like to compare the values of our hobbies over the next couple of years. While yours will continue to go down in value mine will continue to go up, eh Lex?

Keep in mind that like your car, it's just a hobby for me, Lex

Here Lex @The Prowler, some Life's Lessons for you!

I'm a Witness to your endless drivel about your meaningless existence & I approve of this video (for you).

Lex, just to let you know once and for all.

You are one INCREDIBLY BORING PERSON

However, I'll make a few exceptions to your list...

comic book and coin collecting.

Maybe we can exchange notes some time.

Dream on, Senile @Joe.

You are not in the same league as I am when it comes to collecting.

It is interesting that the only two hobbies of mine that you seem interested in are what most people would say are the most boring.

They certainly are the hobbies where I have a more passive role. I do not write or illustrate comic books. I do not design coins, nor do I participate in their production.

I am simply a spectator.

That it what you are, Senile @Joe.

A spectator.

Watching.

Never doing.

At some point in your life, you were convinced that you are not worthy enough or skilled enough to actually participate in sports or other activities that you have to be physically involved in, such as playing music.

I find that sad.

Life has so much to offer, but you are so limited.

You gave me an idea @Joe If we took up a collection, I think between all of us we could front Howler the down payment on a personality!
