So, yeah, that area can be a little unsafe. I actually lived just up the hill on Cedar Street from where she was filming in my late 20's. I rented the main floor of a house. Two drug dealers rented the second floor. Crack whores were dropped off to "<em>work</em>" just two doors down at a high rise apartment building at all hours. One block down on Eby Street there were about 6 crack houses in one block. It was a fun neighbourhood.
