They seem like as nice breed. I have met a number of them and they have always been happy little dogs. How much of that was the breed and how much of that was the owner, I cannot say. Certainly a nervous, unstable owner can turn just about any dog into a neurotic, problematic dog.

Tibbies are awesome. The one we had a couple years ago was well mannered and perfect. She heeled when walking on leash and was always so delighted to just be around us.
They have long tails with a thick fan and their ears get long and droopy almost like dreads the way the hair forms. And they have boxer paws, go figure. They exist to make us feel adored. Marissa was the happiest dog I ever owned and was a joy every day.
I'm looking forward to having a little more of that in my life.

I have done both...my current dog came from a Shelter. Sometimes people want a specific breed and going with a breeder is the only option.
@jack is using a reputable breeder (AKC registered), so while I would love to, I cannot fault him for his decision.
