So that is missing a payment, another month goes by, then you get a 30 day eviction notice. That is a whole month plus 30 days before you are out on your ass. And @Joe is such a bullshitter. $200 would be a small portion of the rent he is talking about. He always talks about how expensive it is to live where he is. I know here a decent 2 bedroom apartment is $2000/month. So we will be conservative and say @Joe's imaginary friends are paying $2000/month. That means they had $1800 of the $2000. He is claiming that if they paid $1800 of the $2000 the landlord would break the law and toss them out into the streets? Please. @Joe lives in a fantasy world. This is just another example. @Joe reads and listens to the news, and that is where he gets his information about "what the real world is like". So @Joe will hear one story about how a person was wrongfully evicted, and he will think that is the norm. He does not seem to understand that only rare, outrageous, not-normal events are newsworthy. Is there is a reason @Joe picked such a small dollar amount for the rent that was needed? People in Canada on Disability Pensions are provided rentals with extremely low rent payments (the government pays most of the rent, but the individual never sees these transactions). Is $200 more in-line with @Joe's monthly rent payment due to the benefits he receives on a Disability Pension? Oh, wait. I forgot. @Joe lives in a $10 million house.
