They've had a massive national inferiority complex ever since Alexander greeked them up the ass with a tiny little army.

I think the possibility of at least a limited ground invasion in the strait of Hormuz along with intensified US air attacks is quite possible . ...UNLESS...there is a last minute peace deal brokered by nations such as Pakistan or in Europe to prevent further escalation.

It seems unlikely the US would try to invade the entire country like they did in Iraq given Iran's size & difficult terrain.

Hopefully there won't be anymore bloodshed but that seems a tad idealistic & wishful thinking.
