Good point.
As a rule perishables are very risky investments, buys, unles the whole purpose is to consume them right away.

Wines can be lucrative investments, but they require proper storage facilities to maintain a constant temperature, etc.

I've thought about buying expensive wines, but the problem is where to store them.

Then there's the problem of liquor licensing and being able to re-sell them later on.

Thats the equivalent buying an expensive ice sculpture hoping it won’t melt or the refrigerator housing it wont malfunction @Alticus
Depends on who bought it. If it's a Michelin restaurant, the buyer will probably profit handsomely.
