Waste, Fraud and Abuse.
I rarely ever carry legal tender, unless I'm going to hit the dispensary for some hemp products, which are still primarily cash only around these parts.

CBDC here just got bumped to 2026 , there's a push here with our Canadian Bank Act

It's coming after the Civil wars break out and police state is in effect..

It said in that video that in the USA only 10% of transactions will be with real cash by 2030. I would think that it is much less than 10% already in Canada. But I am not really sure.

I have used credit cards almost exclusively for decades. I get rewards from 1% to 3% on every transaction. I only use cash for simple transactions like when I sell a coffee maker to a hobo. Or when someone pays me $20 to sit in my Corvette.

I probably have less than $3000 in real cash on hand right now. My on hand cash fluctuates somewhere between $1000 and $5000.
