If you actually looked into the riots in Portland it is well established that Trump sent almost 800 goons to town during the riots ostensibly to guard Federal Buildings, that soon led to the violence. It's well documented. It was peaceful until the Storm Troopers went wild.

EDIT: Also bear in mind that extenuating circumstances in any given case can lead to it being erroneously either linked to, or separated from, the riots. The exact number of fatalities directly stemming from rioting may not be concretely knowable for that reason.

Which is why I didn't put forward a claim as to exact numbers.
