"The strike came after Hezbollah launched one of its most intense bombardments of northern Israel in nearly a year of fighting"

Hezbollah launched about 140 missiles at Israel.

Did you think that would go unanswered?

Israel really needs to find a different way to exist in the world.

To be honest, putting them where they did created so many problems, I think ANYWHERE would've been better. Brazil's Northeast for example, it's not too different from Israel's weather, they'd have adapted to that region much better than the people living there today.

According to the ultra-orthodox Hasidic Jews, the Torah forbids a Jewish nation. They were condemned to wander the earth until a Savior came to take them to the land of milk and honey. They were supposed to find nations that tolerated them until that time. [Germany- bad choice] The Zionists that promote Israel, condemn the Hasidim as antisemitic. So people that pray and study the Torah all day are antisemitic? Doesn't add up. The Hasidim refuse to serve in the military because they are anti-violence and against killing anyone. Now the Zionists are trying to force them into the military. Why? To help continue the killing of the people the land actually belongs to? The Hasisim have been out there demonstrating with the Palestinians for justice. Israel has a huge propaganda machine that condemns anyone that disagrees with them as antisemitic. American politicians have fallen for the propaganda. BILLIONS of our tax dollars have gone to Israel, our 'ally'. This is what our 'ally' did to us in 1967.

From the article

"although not publicly acknowledged, abandonment of the Palestinian cause by Arab officialdom, and a US campaign to bury Palestinian national aspirations"

Carter was a good man, optimistic, perhaps naive as far as his expectations. There was no cause to hand Panama back other than quiet unrest. .........there will always be unrest

Carter was a man of faith. While I'm not religious I did read his book of the same title. It explained a lot to me. Here's a centenarian still building houses people could afford to buy and live in until he couldn't get up any more.

Greg Abbott sent condolences to Rosalynn when he heard the news of Carter's passing.

The misinformation is rampant on all sides. The stuff coming out lately seems to try to legitimaize what was pretty crazy ideas all around. Double lung pneumonia is quite a virus or weapon depending on your perspective.

so then, what was the origin of SARS?

SARS-CoV was a recombinant virus that originated from Chinese horseshoe bats (Rhinolophus sinicus) before it infected palm civets and then humans (5). Studying cellular tropism may provide clues to the host range and possible origin of zoonotic viruses.

And now it seems that being a doctor still makes you a "terrorist".

At worst, maybe he is a committed supporter of Hamas, but that hasn't been completely determined.

At the very least, he's forced to aid Hamas under threat of torture/death which is the theory I'm leaning toward.

He was right over 120 years ago. Dealing with Hamas at al is wrong they should be eliminated from the face of this Earth
