That echoed a typical promise Trump made while campaigning in August, when he repeatedly

that he would "rapidly drive down prices" at supermarkets on the day he is sworn into office.

That is one day away. How's that going?

Here's what he

on Dec. 12, in response to a question about whether his presidency would be a failure if he doesn't bring down prices.

"I don't think so. Look, they got them up," Trump said. "I'd like to bring them down. It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard."

Going to be a fun week after the coming debacle in Chicago and his flurry of EO's this afternoon.

The lawsuits should start somtime around 1:05 and hopefully they'll consume the incoming admin with enough glue to gum up everything.

the resistance is real.

The MAGAtards never address this particular OP topic. They'll pretend he didn't campaign on dropping prices and also that didn't flip on the promise before being inaugurated,

MAGA is dumb as fuck.

I know. I have not seen one MAGA here express disappointment or even acknowledgement that he has already backpedaled on the grocery thing. And none of them would admit, especially not The Question, that I told them for months that grocery costs had doubled in Europe as well, so how the fuck was that Biden's fault?

Of course, everything that goes wrong from here on out they'll blame on Biden.

It will be a blame game. That's all the GOP has done for decades.
