It's been about a week...get the fuck out of here with your bs
You're just saying that because you're afraid that just about everyone you know is going to be deported.

I get why you're afraid. Payback's a bitch.

I suggest you start packing the important items now. That way you will at least be prepared and won't leave anything behind that you'll regret later.

You could be onto something. Then again it's a very small number and the example given in this thread is about a drunken driving crash. That's hardly an empowered individual just someone with problems that existed long before Trump got the lions share of the votes.
Why you support the catch and release of child molesters?

J6 hooligan Andrew Taake soliciting minors for sex is not a joke. It’s disturbing that you see it as such
Why in the world would you come up with the bizarre notion that I see Andrew Taake soliciting minors for sex as a joke when I never even mentioned the name in the first place.

What are you smoking?

I just posted the details on 1. He dead. Waving a weapon at a cop. Only been a week he was out. At a traffic stop. Who the fuck waves a gun during a traffic stop?

I think the point is, this particular batch are much more likely to be recidivist because they feel "empowered" by the pardon.

Some people don’t want to see the connection of things…

I’m of the opinion that everything is connected and drastic shifts in any direction have a profound effect.

I think pardons for some of the January 6 crowd might be appropriate if they were not affiliated with extremist groups nor committed violent acts. eg

...and they guy expressed remorse for his actions.

Merely walking through the building isn't the same as wrecking private property, assaulting police officers or shouting extremist slogans.

so there could be some leniency granted for some but certainly not all of them.

nah. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Who ever heard of TRESPASSING on the capitol? People involved in the riot just had to be there to be guilty.

You know, like the way Trump treats "illegal immigrants"...Cross the border illegally and you're already a criminal.

If that's how they look at it, then same thing.

I think the vast majority of those type of people are never going to act out again. It's the ones that were violent or destroying property that shouldn't have been pardoned.

That's what jail time is supposed to do. You supposedly would NEVER want to go back there again.

I'm actually in favor of erasing criminal records for some convicts if they have rehabilitated and not committed any more crimes since 10 years ago or more. Turned their lives around, etc.

We should do this more in Canada. I know a guy who lost his job over some marijuana charge and he had a family to support. I believe last I saw of him, he's still working and he's like over 70 years old.
