It kind of amazes me, the things that brought down a number of Dems, while nothing, absolutely nothing could make a good Murican Christian turn on their candidate.

And that has what to do with Democrats grifting the system to provide "education" jobs to other Democrats?

You complained about the outcomes. Teachers can't get through to kids that are distracted by modern electronics. It's not coincidental that kids are having learning challenges with electronic devices glued to their hands.

It's not just teachers. It's a much bigger problem than that.

The Department of Education is against the Constitution, but Elon Musk is Constitutionally approved. According to Gaslighting @Reggie_Essent.
Er, no. For someone who once taught remedial English to 1st year college students who were basically illiterate because their Public k-12 school systems run by Democrats failed them miserably, you're either pretending not to understand what I clearly and concisely conveyed through written words or there's another reason you remained an "adjunct" for all those years.

Goober Translate: I don't have a clue what Trump is doing or how it will effect the Country and The Economy, but I just love Trump sooo much!

Which is in spite of, not because of, public education.

I'm not saying public education isn't in the need of reforms. I know our state is the 5th largest economy because of our investments in public education from k-post grad schools.

Do you think my education was inadequate, Lily?

I went to public schools. The high school I went to, the entirety of the school administration consisted of the Principal, who was also the History teacher, the Office Lady and the School Nurse who came in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That was it. My dad's property taxes were about $300 a year.

Flash forward 35 years. My kid's high school has a Principal, six "Vice-Principals,' at least a dozen Office Ladies, numerous "Guidance Counselors" and gods know what else. None of them taught classes, of course. These were "Administrative Personnel" and not "certified" teachers. My property taxes were over $7k at the time.

That was 20 years ago, so who knows what we're getting assfucked for now. Probably got special DOE funded Couselors for trannies and faggots. My taxes are just under 10K now.

No, I don't.

Our school had more staff than yours, not as many as your kids' school, but it was a pretty big school.

I think staff size depends on student population. However, I know that schools are burdened with a lot of bullshit.

I like school choice, because it saves the billionaires yacht money’s from being spent on exclusive private schools for their children.

I think it avoids the wasted resources on address verification.

There are so many ways to get a permit and they are forced to start late and bus in.

If your family can make it work… enroll.

You are a complete moron. The reason the US saw a huge economic boom after WWII was precisely because of FREE post-secondary education. As that same education becomes more and more expensive, the US is also, coincidentally, in decline. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the correlation, and often certifiable causation.

<non-substantive fluff>. The reason the US saw a huge economic boom after WWII was precisely because of FREE post-secondary education.
Or because the manufacturing base and labor force expansion catalyzed by the war effort -- no longer carrying the burden of said war effort -- exploded once that burden was lifted and the boys came home to amplify output further.
As that same education becomes more and more expensive, the US is also, coincidentally, in decline. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the correlation, and often certifiable causation.
Almost as if throwing more and more money at it makes it worse, not better.

When I realized that that was all he really had to offer I just pushed the button and walked away. Honestly the rest are weird, but not like X. He's just stupid and destructive. Will burn ANY bridge to insult you.

I know this is a flame board, but at least with the others there's some back and forth.

It's a different look to the board without all the flooding and endless name calling.

Honey, don't argue with me about this shit. I spent my career in education. Fuck off. You're an apologist for right wing bullshit.

I'm guessing how he doesn't know how much the GI Bill, alone, opened the doors for higher education for working class Americans that helped to fuel all the industry that arose after the war.

People who have never taught a single class in their lives ALWAYS know more about education than anyone else. It's amazing more of them aren't actually educators.

You're guessing incorrectly, which demonstrates the general value of guesswork. In fact, read what I wrote upthread to see why. Or don't, I don't much care.
